Monahan’s is Ann Arbors premier spot for fresh seafood. The restaurant has plenty of bar space and a beautiful patio for outdoor seating, making it much more than a seafood market. However, you can still by fish to fry up at home. The Oyster Po’boy is a crowd favorite here. With perfectly fried and breaded oysters and tomato and lettuce as fresh as the seafood, one bite and you’ll be back.

With one of the classiest atmospheres in Ann Arbor and some of the most creative cocktails around, it’s easy to see why this bar is so popular. The My Boy Blue cocktail is one of their best drinks. It’s a bourbon drink mixed with elderberries, blueberries and a few other components. The ingredients bring out all the right flavors of a bourbon, so don’t be thrown off by blue being in the name. It isn’t blue!

Wolverine State is one of the best brewpubs in the city, and that’s no easy feat since Ann Arbor is full of them. The food here is a far cry from bar food. The sliders here are amazing, especially the BBQ pork slider on a brioche bun. They also serve some of the best craft beer for miles. If IPA is your thing, for the Gulu Gulu.
