One of Plymouth’s most upscale bars, a night out at Cellar 849 is sure to be a blast. They specialize in gourmet pizza, with choices like the Vesuvio with ham and one of the best Margherita pizzas you can find in the states. With about two dozen wine choices and a handful of specialty beers, this is a restaurant worth staying at after the meal. The ambiance is great — dimly lit with beautiful brown and black hues.

You won’t find a much better breakfast in Plymouth than the one served at the Omelette & Waffle Cafe. From their fresh squeezed orange juice to the main attractions — their pancakes and eggs — stopping in here is a great way to start the day. The ambiance is great too, beautiful paintings of chefs line the walls, and there’s no shortage of eye-popping colors scattered throughout the cafe.

Featuring specials like the Italian burger with angel hair pasta of the Detroiter, a hamburger stuffed with hot dogs and bacon, each bite is an entire world of flavors. With great outdoor seating, a countertop for the classic diner feel and excellent service, the ambiance here is typical American goodness.

Liberty Street Brewing Company

149 W. Liberty St., Plymouth, MI 48170

734-207-9600

For some of Plymouth’s own local beer, you will not find better than Liberty Street. If you’re swept away with the craft beer trend like most of us are, you’ll be pleased to know they have a wide selection of beer types. In the mood for a stiff IPA? The American IPA and the Barber’s Garden IPA are some of the current hot choices. For something sweet, the hard cider and the Berry Vanilla Stout are always great choices. The atmosphere is what you’d expect from a local brewpub — on the quiet side of bars, spacious and very clean.

NICO and VALI Italian Eatery

744 Wing St., Plymouth MI 48170

734-207-7880

NICO and VALI Italian Eatery is one of Plymouth’s finest delis. While they do have a restaurant area, most customers come here for the fresh Italian food they sell. However, it’s never a bad time to eat here. With dishes like a beautiful tomato and basil bruschetta and their salmon burger, you’ll definitely be looking around the store for what they used to cook their dishes.
