Whether you go with the plain with your favorite condiments or some of their specialties like the Rock City Dog or the Mexican Town, this will become your new favorite hot dog place. The choices here are unbelievable. In the mood for Polish? Then order the Killer Kraut. How about BLT? The Detroit BLT with romaine lettuce is sure to wow you.

Dan's Downtown Tavern

103 E Michigan Ave., Saline, MI 48176

734-429-3159

Great food, great beer, great service. Need more? OK then, the hamburgers are the main attraction here. The Pizza Burger is a must-try. On the other hand, the Peanut Butter Burger will definitely warrant a double take once you see it on the menu. A half-pound burger slathered with peanut better and cheddar cheese and topped with bacon, where could you go wrong? There’s also a full bar here with over a dozen beers on tap.

Mac's Acadian Seafood Shack

102 E. Michigan Ave., Saline, MI 48176

734-944-6227

For some of the best seafood in Saline, Mac’s Acadian Seafood is always a great choice. The Cajun Spiced Shrimp is one of the crowd favorites, along with the Crab Cake. For something a little out of the ordinary, the Buffalo Shrimp will open you up to a new world. The ambiance is pretty good here too — the interior is covered in beautiful red bricks, and the seating is very spacious. Also, the presentations on some of these dishes will have you think twice before tearing into them.

Biwako Sushi

1355 E. Michigan Ave., Saline, MI 48176

734-944-6301

The sushi here is out of this world. If spicy is your thing, go with the spicy tuna or the spicy California roll. The spicy sauce they use here is amazing — so amazing that you won’t think twice dipping your fingers into it. But there’s more than sushi here. The Bulgogi is amazing. It's a Japanese style stir fry with shredded rib eye, green peppers and onions. If you’re unsure of Japanese food outside of sushi, the Bulgogi is a great place to start.

Salt Springs Brewery

117 S. Ann Arbor St., Saline, MI 48176

734-295-9191

Specializing in a little bit of everything, Salt Springs is great for an indecisive group. Feeling pizza? Go with the Margherita or the breakfast pizza. In the mood for some Mexican food? The pork and beans here cannot be beat. With a little bit of rice, perfectly seasoned pork and tons of spices, this is the perfect dish for a quick fill up. The beer here is great too. Their speciality is IPAs, but there are tons of lighter beers. Go with the Hefeweizen if you like a mild tasting beer that still does the trick, and the hard cider is great for those with a sweet tooth.
